Hi, No matter what game I am playing may it be GTAV, RD2, or even HoTs the PC randomly crashes following up with restart back to the login screen. No BSOD or message to say what happened before hand. Each day I play a game it crashes and this has happened 7 times now. I've tried updating to the latest OS (Version 20H2), reset my PC with my 3 HDD's disconnected because they contain all my games and 3D modelling stuff, update my GPU to the recommended drivers, placed my power settings into balance mode, cleared any dust in the PSU filter and finally my BIOS settings are default. My P

Hi folks, My system is randomly rebooting. Can’t figure this one out. No BSOD’s About 9 months ago I upgraded my system. Bought a new GTX1660Ti a 2nd hand Gigabyte Z77P-D3 motherboard to fit my i7 3rd gen ivy bridge. Fitted the cpu with a dark rock pro cooler. Added 2x 8GB ram sticks from Hyperx. Lastly to power the rig a new PSU: https://m.alternate.nl/Cooler-Master/MWE-450Watt-Bronze-v2-voeding/html/product/1551849 Running a win7 install that’s probably 6-7 years old and upgraded it to win10 i think about 1-2 years ago. Then bought this Gigabyte motherboa

I can't use my GPU at all. It passes video through to my monitor, but the moment I turn on a game (not necessarily in the start menu but the moment the actual game starts) or start Unreal Engine 4, my PC restarts with no BSOD or crash log, but with an Event 41 with no bugcheckcode. I'm pulling my hair out. I've tried everything. I'm pretty sure my PC doesn't have malware. My CPU has survived every stress test I've done so far, my RAM tests have been successful, I've tried plugging it into different ports, temps are healthy, the PC is pristine without a particle of dust, everything is plugged i

Hi, my computer is getting restarted randomly without any error or bsod. In event viewer log i get the following error tagged as "Critical" Error: Event ID: 6008 (The previous system shutdown at 9:33:33 PM on 8/14/2020 was unexpected) Critical: Event ID : 41 (The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.) Any help would be appreciated alot because im totally blind what to diagnose in this regard. This issue has been persisting for a while now and I can't quite wrap my head around it. There are certain games that have been able to cause this repeatedly while other games that should be equally if not more intensive run just fine. For example I can run Red Dead 2 at medium settings for multiple hours without this issue occurring, but when I try to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance after a few seconds the computer will reboot on its own, no BSOD is shown the screen just goes black and the computer powers on again. This obviously looks like a power issue but I have tried replacing the PSU and

update: I did a cinebench r20 run while also doing a heaven run and the pc didnt\'t crash but when I booted up Hearthstone the pc reset as it has been. Hello, My windows 10 pc restarts during games and other activities. The components are not being overworked as my CPU doesn't go above 70% usage during the crashes and my GPU doesn't go above 25%. The problem used to happen anytime I opened the start menu but now only happens during light CPU loads. It hasn't happened at idle at all. I've recently put windows onto an m.2 sata ssd but after the problems began I formated the

crash PC crashes to different colour on each monitor

I have been suffering with this issue for about 2 months now. It progressively got worse until it was happening daily until I decided to rebuild, at which point it stopped completely for about two weeks. Since then, it has continued to happen more frequently where it is now happening daily again. I have tried reinstalling my graphics driver which didn't affect anything and am currently troubleshooting each RAM stick. I have been looking around on several forums but nobody else seems to have the exact same issue. When my PC crashes, I am sometimes gaming, sometimes just browsing the -

Hello guys. I will try to be as clear as possible describing my problem. So as the title says my computer freezes without a BSOD. Its full random, so I don't know what triggers this freeze. The reset button won't always restart the PC but when it does it takes a couple of seconds to do it. When I watch a video while it happens the audio freezes as well But sometime the audio doesn't freeze my PC just goes silent. In the Task Manager's Performanc tab I couldn't see any anomaly before freezes. Sometime just a quick freeze happens, I mean some video is pl

My PC reboots when its under heavy load, and it does not show a BSOD. I tested the PC with IntelBurnTest, and nothing happend. But I then tested it with FurMark and it reboots after a couple of minutes (first time 13min, second time around 7min). I then disable my SLI and had it running for 30 minutes and no reboot. So could the problem be my PSU, or is it one of my GPU's? PC Specs: PSU: Cooler Master G750M GPU: 2x MSI GTX 970 CPU: i7 4790K RAM: 16GB SSHD: Seagate Desktop SSHD 1TB Motherboard: MSI Z97-Gaming 5

Hello everybody. Well, my PC seems to reboot itself when under heavy load. But it seems to only be doing it when I have SLI enabled, when it is Disabled or when I take out one of the two 970's, It does not reboot (I tested it with 20min Furmark and 10min Valley Benchmark) With SLI it can be a couple of seconds before it reboots, or it can be up to 15 minutes before it reboots. The GPU1 reached around 65C temp, the GPU2 Goes up to 80C but then goes up and down between 79C and 80C. I also tried turning the Power limit down to 80% and 50%, 80 it rebooted after a couple of

When I first built my pc around 2 months ago, it used to frequently (over 2 times a day) freeze, everything would stop in it's tracks, the mouse didn't move, ctrl alt del didn't work, any audio would linger there and turning off/on the monitor wouldn't help. Basically it was trapped in space time. I didn't bother to wait over 3 minutes so I would hard restart it without any BSOD. It used to happen frequently, then it died down after a month and now it's coming back. For the past half a week it's been doing this again and again. What's annoying is that while I'm writing an essay on word or some

Hi, so i'm taking a look at my friends desktop which has been having some problems over the past few days. The problem right now is that it seems to restart with no BSOD, at seemingly random intervals. the eventviewer has not recorded anything, but a Kernel-power event-id 41 with no bugcheck code (eventviewer attached), and no minidump or dump files are being created. Some important information is that the PSU fried this friday, so he got that replaced, formatted the system drive and did a clean install of windows 10 64bit. System: windows 10 pro 64bit. Asus asus prime b250m-

So ever since around the middle of January, my pc will restart when under load (normally while playing overwatch but has happened in other games / stress tests). Hello everyone. I have the issue that my PC would suddenly reboot at seemingly random times (e.g. playing various games, watching videos, using Ableton Live etc.) without a BSOD. PC with recent upgrades shuts down for no apparent reason
Wingwire posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hello all, Back in December I moved my PC to a new case, and noticed loose heatsinks on the motherboard, but I thought nothing of it because I knew I was going to be upgrading soon after anyway. It had an AMD Phenom II X4 945 and some old Gigabyte motherboard then, and sometimes it would shut off randomly and reboot without any BSOD, etc while playing CSGO or Payday 2 about a month or so after the case change. It was occasional at first, but become more and more common as time passed. I tried lowering the graphics settings in Payday 2 and that worked for a bit, but even with that it ev -

Hello, i'm new here, i'm having some issues using my new laptop wich arrived 2days ago, the ASUS FX505GD-BQ115T. When using the laptop, it freezes randomly, the screen goes black and the pripherals stops recieving power. I checked the web for any fix and tried several things but nothing seems to work. i reisntalled windows 10, did the upgrades, installed all drivers (asus included), but it keeps freezing randomly forcing me to restart. that's the first problem. The second problem is that i can't choose the gtx 1050 for my display, i can't have 120hz on screen even if th

ISSUE: So a friend of mine recently built a new computer and as of a few weeks ago it started crashing randomly when in a game and gave no BSOD. These crashes were not happening when he first built the PC. Together we've gone through a number of possible solutions, from updating drivers, adjusting game settings, removing the restrictive front cover on his case for better airflow, and even rebuilding the machine thinking the poor cable management might be a cause but nothing has worked. I went and installed HWINFO to watch temps on the GPU, CPU, and chipset but nothing s
