Seasonic focus + or focus GX

I am interested in getting a new PSU and decided a Seasonic focus would work well, with current pricing differences its complicated as to weather a 650 or a 750 watt PSU would be better to buy. I can find both wattage types in the newer focus GX and the older Focus + but I am not sure if there is any reason to pick the Focus + over the Focus GX. If I get 750 watts it is the same price for either series and if I get a 650 watt it is cheaper to buy from the GX line. Is there any reason to pick the focus + over the focus GX?

not really, according to the PSU tier list the Focus plus and this thread

Seasonic Focus based units made prior to Jan 2018 had incompatibility issues with high transient power draw GPUs like AMD Vega, source. Does not apply to renewed OneSeasonic SKUs and some rebranded units which were released later.

and most systems dont even need a 750 nor 650 watt power supply, so you should be solid with the GX
