Tier C. It depends on what the rest of your system is and what your other PSU options are, but I'd avoid.

according to the PSU tier list

it is a tier C

Quote

Tier C • Recommended for iGPU systems

The only thing i hate about this is that its only 230v input and 50hz. BUT it has 5YEARS WARRANTY AND 1 YR WARRANTY AT LOCAL STORE.and i buyed it from official store at the philippines. Do you think does it mean low quality or its just the purpose of this psu is for 230v country?

PSUs usually have a range for the input like 100v-240v

and 47-63hz

does it not have that?

Dont have only 230v and 50hz.btw recently i ask the( america  thermaltake) why my psu is only 230v input cause my electricity is 220v and they said its okay cause the tolerance of eu is 10% and then i ask why its 50hz in my country is 60hz.And they said its okay cause its a transformer not a motor 50hz is minimum they said. For what they said im not kinda okay cause i dont want my whole pc fried. Thats why i ask the thermaltake philippines and  they said NO ONE report the thermaltake smart bm1 psu to them. And im not completely done i ask the technician if its okay they told me yes cause only 60hz electricity to 50hz psu are not okay.but 50hz psu to 60hz electricity is good. And thats my freaking adventure . They sell this power supply at $70.

Yes. I have this psu. I think i will change this psu after 1 yr. And i will get the seasonic core gc 80+gold 550watts or the dq750st gold. I dont know why but the seasonic gc  and dq750st are much cheaper than the thermaltake smart bm1 600watts.

check the PSU tier list before you purchase a new PSU, or create another thread sp that other members may help.

Well, just to add in:

If possible, get at least 80 Plus Gold certified PSU. Usually they provide a good power for a mid-range gaming PC (by mid-range, I mean PC with a graphic card).

Actually, the term "Dangerous" used in PSU Tier list means that the PSU might break or destroy your component if you have a very high end setup (like having Water Pump, Overclocked CPU, Dual GPU) as the sudden surge of power draw or demand (mostly from GPU) could lead the PSU to either being cut-off (thinking it as a short-circuit), blew a few capacitors, or down right surge the system. In your case, however, it should not be causing an overly-exaggerated scenario like above.

Anyway, if you are not doing anything crazy, the PSU should be fine.

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.

Okay.

I just thought the PSU Tier List is a bit exaggerating. Those with labelled 'dangerous' actually are quite safe, if you don't overclock your system too much, and if your system is consume less than 80% of the PSU power rating. Plug in to an Auto Voltage Regulator should help the PSU a little as it can regulate the voltage of the PSU input, which result in cleaner power from PSU.

Anyway, glad to hear you have resolved your problem.
