This makes me wish I had an Oculus Rift...

Quit wishing and buy one. It's worth it, even if it's just the dev. kit....

Rift 200-300 use on eBay! Get it now

The Dev kit is $300 US new I do believe.

This is why I didn't run out and buy 3 monitors. The Rift looks like a much better investment when things are ironed out.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!

Yup, I didn't know if it would be a hit, and I thought it would be way up there in price. I have kind of waited on monitor and going big on video cards. Wanted a 27 inch IPS, then Gsync's (not ips) were announced, maybe tri monitor.

At 300 bucks? This thing is cheaper then a NICE single monitor.

After seeing some of these demos and seeing where this is going? Screw tri monitors. This thing is legit. Racing, flight games and FPS games are just going to be awesome on this thing. Wish the 3D would translate on video, but even just being able to look around and I am sold. Add to that Sony is making one for the PS4. Can you imagine Mass Effect, a Batman game on this thing, or a Thief game?

ME would be awesome.

Last I read the newest version (not released yet) may be rocking 1440p too. I wonder what the timeline for the consumer version/solid game support is looking like. I'm content with my dual 760's/single 1920x1080 22" LG until then.

The big pusher for me is Star Citizen. I'm thinking the Rift will be well worth it for the immersion.

Agreed! Mainly the SC point tho if dog fighting releases in April I may have to invest in a rift...
