And admit that AMD is better? NEVER!!!!!

Not the same thing.  Intel’s problem is in fab.  AMD doesn’t even HAVE fab.  AMD didn’t beat Intel, TSMC did. and Samsung, and a couple others too iirc.  AMD is is a chip designer.  Intels problem isn’t in chip design it’s in silicon fab.

I think design flaws and terrible attacks that make their cpus preform worse after the patch is a design problem.

I don know, TSMC cant make good chips without AMD to design them.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

so the fanboy horde strikes the forums again with their "boooo amd is bs only poor ppl buy it lolz how can you play with amd" crap and making posts about how their $3000 64 core intel chip is 1000 times better than a dual core athlon from 2006?

No, thanks.

You do realise that both are multibillion dollar corporations, right?

If AMD gets to the same position Intel has been in for the past 10+ years, you'd be looking at possibly just as bad of a monopoly in the CPU industry as we've had in the past several years. But oh well, better start senselessly calling people fanboys.

Not a s big a problem as no 7nm though. TSMC makes chips for lots of designers.  If AMD went poof they’d be making them for someone else

UPDATE: could be a design problem I suppose.  If intel turned their design in to TSMC and TSMC said “ you can’t design a 7nm chip that way” that would be pretty interesting.

I mean my rig is intel, but does that mean i like anti consumer practices? Do i like that my 7th gen preforms the same as a 4th gen? Take a guess.

what??? I explained why i want intel to come back but i still base my purchases on what is most notable at the time. sure yes, intel may not have the best reputation (even that is kinda a light way to say it to other people). but in the light of competition, EVEN if Intel makes the new "blue" ryzen, AMD will be forced to go back to the drawing board and make something that is even better or atleast more bang for the buck.

& exactly who called YOU a fanboy?

just pointing out that if intel comes up with a new CPU this and the rest of the forums will be flooded with shitposts about how intel is better.

about competition they should try lowering the prices a bit or maybe not selling the same CPU but overclocked 3 times in a row.

Ooh such big shiney letters.  Biggest I’ve seen used here ever.   Assuming letter size is commensurate to emotional involvement I would point out that this isn’t exactly a thread worth getting worked up over.  If there even is such a thing.  It seems to me to be kind of an ironic joke pointing out that the intel roadmap is in tatters because 7nm did not work as expected. This is just one floating shred. A ghost from the land of might-have-been

I honestly don't see that happening with all the Ryzen circlejerks across the internet lol. And I still don't get your point.

But what if they do release a new chip and it actually is better than the competition? Like, legitimately, objectively better? People talking about it and praising it would be shitposting? Of course that's a big if considering the current circumstances, but still, I'm trying to figure out what you're trying to get at.
