AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Hi guys. I have purchased a processor and this processor seems to have been used before. Can you take a look about her condition?

If the pins are straight and the processor works, then no need to worry.

I edit my posts more often than not

I haven't tried yet. The pins are neat, but the traces of moisture around are strange.

Those are manufacturing blemishes. Perfectly normal. You can't have a 100% perfectly polished product that comes off an assembly line in China.

Not moisture, most likely something used to smooth the Samsung process for the IHS

How do I know if it's not used?

Was the original seal on the packaging torn or damaged in any way?

I don't see personally anything particularly notable in the images that might indicate that it was used.

If you bought it with a sealed box, it's new. No large retailer would sell a used part. And if the CPU works fine, theres no need to worry. Modern CPUs live for 10-20 years before dying of old age.

The box was normal and smooth.

Thank you guys, so there is nothing to worry about then.
