Should I upgrade my R3 2200g to a R5 2600 or a R7 1700?

So last year I bought a 2200g for 5kphp (101.86USD), I'm looking to sell it for around 4500php(91.86USD) and buying either a R5 2600 for 6kphp (122.25USD) or a R7 1700 PRO for the same price. 

Is it worth it? Which is better? Any response would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Processor: Ryzen 7 2700 w/ Wraith Prism

GPU:  Zotac Mini GeForce GTX 1070ti 8GB

In gaming? Probably athe 2600. (Assuming it's for gaming that is). 

For 120 bucks you can probably get a 3300x which will perform better than both of these in gaming. 

What's your workload? Budget? And can you wait for zen 3?

Gaming, but also planning to create vids and probably stream in the future but I've tried streaming/editing with my 2200g and I see no problem with it so far. My budget is around 6-7kphp I guess. 

I think I can wait for future releases and/or future price drops but I also fear that my 2200g's price will also drop to a point that I can no longer sell it for a good deal, but yea, no rush, just looking for my possible prospects.

Use case??? You mean what do I use it for? Typically gaming and editing maybe streaming. I haven't fully committed to video editing and streaming though but I've recently developed an interest to it. I can overclock both CPUs if needed.

If you're satisfied with the current performance. And it's enough for your needs. Wait and save up more and either get zen 3 or get zen 2 for cheaper. 

To answer your question though if you're mainly gaming, 2600, 6 cores are still more than fine for streaming and editing.

I just checked, cheapest 3300x in the Philippine market at the moment is at around 178USD so that's way above my budget. 

Will a 2600 really hold up better against a 1700 PRO? I'm planning to OC since I have a B450 board. Which will be better?

What b450 board? And ryzen doesn't have a big headroom for that anyways so no not really.

2600 then, it's faster per core which is what really matters

Really??? I didn't know that. I've watched the Linus vid where it was announced that B450 boards were not supported for zen 3. This would be amazing news to me tbh

That'd be amazing. So I guess I should just wait another year or so then instead of upgrading to a 2600? Out of curiosity though, would a leap from 2200 to 2600 be big or notable?

unless you have a very high end gpu, rtx2070 or above, they makes minimal  to none diff in gaming 

more than 4 cores is a must and great leap. more cores suits actual workload more, you can then enter editing field
