NZXT H710i case

Goodmorning,

 

I'm looking into building my first pc and deciding to go with the nzxt h710i case.

I was wondering if somebody was using this case with a push/pull config using a kraken z73/x73.

 

Is the mounting self explanatory or do i need i need to buy extra screws if i want push/pull?

 

Also i noticed the H710i case comes with a "Smart Device V2" , so the radiator will be sandwiched by 6x 120mm fans (the 3 included + the 3 radiator fans.

Their is 1 included 120mm (or 140mm fans i can't recall anymore) at the back (exhaust) and i would buy 2x 140mm fans for the top (mounted on the bracket) also for exhaust.

The 2x 140mm rgb pack i would buy comes with a hue+ controller, is that needed assuming the case comes with a "smart device V2".

Push/pull is only possible in the front, though can mount push or pull at the top.

Thanks for the info , didn't know i could look at builds this way.

I was definitely gonna put the radiator in front for push/pull, thought i mentioned that but i didnt.

 

I also found out that i dont need the added hue bridge with the nzxt fan pack , the smart device V2 command RPM and RGB colors for all fans attached.

 

The only thing i'm worried about it the amount of fans and controlling them , i mean like : radiator has 6 fans , top exhaust i'm installing 2 x 140mm fans and backside has 1 fan also , do i need to use cable fan splitters or somesort or does this case have me covered ?

I believe you'll need at least one spliter for all the fans. Whether you use the spliter for the exhaust fans or the intake fans is up to you.
