I noticed that while watching youtube videos (mainly gameplays) my cpu temps go from like 50 to 62 and then back down.I dont know what causes that. The cpu cooler has been applied properly but the only thing I did differently when building the pc was spreading the paste. I think this problem occured like once again but I dont remember what i did then

Thanks for your help!

what are you using to monitor temps?

what are your temps under load? if they're fine dont worry about idle temps, load temps are what matters.

idle temps don't matter that much.

what cpu do you have? what cooler?

what are the temps under load/stress test?

what software do you use to monitor temps?

I have a R5 2500 and a Cyorig C7 running on the standard fan curve.Under load I have 60 - 70 in general (playing games mainly) worst ive seen is in NFS Heat 72C and I use HMmonitor and HWinfo64

Unless you go above 85 under load, nothing to worry about or lose sleep over
