If I Want better performance do I Need to set the highest frequency on the ram and enable the intel max turbo if i Have a Asus b150m pro gaming motherboard and a I5 6500 Cpu

It does only support 2133mhz the motherboard and yes I can turn intel turbo on to get 3.6ghz

Does it help fps if I turn the intel boost from auto to enable and will it make my cpu get more heat?

No because the board and CPU are both locked so toggling that setting won't change anything at all. Intel limit H and B series board so that you buy Z series board and spend more money.

Overclocking will cause the CPU to get hotter as this usually involves increasing core voltage.

 

Unfortunately with your hardware I cannot say you will see any meaningful FPS increase. Best off investing in a better GPU or looking into GPU overclocking if you want higher FPS in games.

every gpu has different capabilities, depends on the pcb quality and the silicon quality. set the power limit to max and see how far you can go, and if you have control over your voltage then slightly increase that and check how far you can go.

I don't know about that GPU specifically but MSI AfterBurner usually let's you change Core clock(MHz)/voltage(mV), Memory clock(MHz)/voltage(mV), and Power Limit (let's the card draw more power).

But how many mhz each time I test till its unstable at core clock and memory clock +100 at memory each time and +40 on core clock each time I test if its unstable

Yeah ive seen a video where he did like 40+ on Core clock each test to see unstable and 100+ on memory clock each test to see unstable so maybe i Will do it when i came home
