I'm looking for a small mATX case so my PC would be bigger in size than two PS4 consoles stacked up, but still a solution you could put in your suitcase, drag it down easily downstairs or go to a LANparty.

My current build is (only giving you information that matters for the size)

- mATX Mortar B450M board

- SSD and HDD (if a case is really nice but the HDD is too big to fit in, I can make a compromise and replace it)
- RX Vega 56 Pulse

- Cryorig H7+ CPU cooler

- ATX sized PSU, 650W

I do care about
- the case having still a decent airflow

- ergonomics, I am travelling from one place to another quite often and I'd like to connect it to a TV or my monitor at home

- at least two USB ports at the front

I don't care about

- looks, especially RGB is not relevant to me

- cable management, it's a nice addition if you can manage cables easily, but I don't look into the case and as long as it doesn't bother the airflow, I don't care

I thought about the Bitfenix Prodigy, but it's an older case so I'd appreciate to hear from you about some interesting cases.

The smallest mATX case you will likely find is the Antec VSK2000-U3, you really aren't going to find anything in the size range you are describing that supports mATX. If you went mini ITX then something like the fractal design Node 202 would be very close to the size you  want

The Silverstone PS15 or Coolermaster Q300L would both work well. The PS15 is smaller, but it has TG side panel which might not make it as friendly to carry as the Q300L's acrylic side panel. (Photo from RGB Build log 2019 in my Signature)

let's say you have this generic suitcase, would you ever put your PC case into it?

It would be fine, but personally I'd be very wary of doing that unless I only putting it in a car where I can keep it so that it's not moving around. I've moved my mITX case around not in a case just fine in the past, but it went from home to car to destination, no other traveling in between. Same thing for the Q300L build I did, the owner frequently takes it from destination A to B not in it's own enclosure, but does all the transporting via their car.
