I'm looking to get a pre built pc for under £500 on overclockers

at that budget, I don't quite think you'll be getting something good. I don't believe that's enough for either a 6 core CPU or Nvidia GPU for nvenc.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

There’s “good” and there’s “good for under £500” One is not the other.

it might be possible to get for example an older used system that would be more or less functional, but it wouldn’t last very long.  The last gasp of outdated hardware perhaps.  A 2500k machine or a prebuilt with a 1650 stuffed into it.  4/8 prebuilts for under 400 are getting rare on the ground though.  Perhaps a small form factor machine that can normally only take half height cards and do some back alley grinder surgery on the case.  It would be ugly as hell and still wouldn’t last into 2021.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
