Is a dual monitor worth it if you pair 1440p144hz 27inch with 1080p60hz 24inch?

Hey i was wondering if 2 different screen sizes, resolution and refresh rates might feel weird?

Is it worth getting 2 monitors in general?

Is it fine if you, say, build a pc with a single monitor and just add another one when you have the money in a few months/1 year or so?

depends on what you're doing, i cant live without dual monitor now, the extra real estate is so good

i even bought a 2nd monitor for my bedside PC

if u plan to extend your game onto 2 monitors, then afaik they have to be the same refresh rate, or it'll follow the lower one

and i think you'll need them to be the same resolution too

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

No i don't plan on gaming on them at the same time.

I am going to be gaming and some video editing and general pc use.

Then most likely you'll appreciate a dual setup.  Only you can say for sure, tho.

yea you'll love it

just make sure you have the desk space for it

some people might be triggered, but different screen size may matter

for me, as long as it's not too different, im fine with it

currently my main desktop uses 2x 24 inch, and my bedside uses 17 inch and 15 inch

i aligned the desktop ones, while the bedside ones arent even aligned or tilted the same angle haha

Only an issue when dragging windows between them. Takes some time to get used to but thats only if the applications aren't always fullscreen.
