What is This Strange Program in Task Manager Startup?

When I right click on it, the "open file location" and "properties" options are grayed out and I can't select them. I doubt it's from a program I've uninstalled. The laptop is only about a month old, and I haven't installed anything on it besides google chrome, discord, and spotify. I certainly haven't uninstalled any of the apps I installed on it.

I have that too...and it's part of Microsoft Teams...at least for me.

Right-click on the Name/Publisher/Status bar... and make sure Command Line is selected.

It will provide more details.

This isn't necessarily an issue, but I'm wondering what this random program that appears in the startup tab on task manager is. It's simply called "program" and the icon is a blank white sheet. What mostly confuses me is that it appears on both my laptop and my gaming desktop. I don't remember exactly when it appeared, and I have no idea what it could be. It's not causing any problems, but it would be nice to know what the heck it is, and if there's a way for me to get rid of it. I've included a picture below showing what I'm talking about.

You can right click on it and choose "open file location" to see where it's from. If I were to guess it's a launcher for some other program.

What minibois said, it's an invalid program so probably an uninstalled program that didn't totally clean up after itself.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Right click on it and press 'Open file location'.

It might be a program that you used to have, that has since been uninstalled.

Interesting. That's exactly what it is for me too. I wonder what made it pop up all of the sudden? Thanks for helping me figure it out!
