WD Black SN750 vs. Corsair MP510 (500GB SSD choice)

Bloody-George

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a nicely priced but relatively fast 500GB NVMe SSD to put in my rig, and two choices have dropped in price here in my country: the Western Digital Black SN750 (no-heatsink version) and the Corsair Force Series MP510. Right now, they are similarly priced, although the WD model is a tad cheaper.

I have to admit, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to SSD read and write speeds, and what the reliable options are on the market. I've already read reviews on both of them, but to be honest, they sound like two good enough choices.

I'd like to know your opinions on the two, and - if you've got one of them - what your experiences with either one or both have been before I can go ahead and make a decision.

Cheers!

Both good. I've give the edge to the cheaper one for general use, SN750 is a bit faster and more efficient for heavy use. You should check my resources (signature) to learn more.

Nice! Thank you so much for the answer! I'll get it then.
