New To the Forum

While working on my bachelor's degree I recently took a course for the core 1 exam of CompTIA's A+ certification. While searching YouTube for practical use of computer components I discovered the Linus Tech Tip channel. Instantly hooked! Months later I went on and failed my first attempt at the 1001 Core 1 exam for A+. No worries, just studying up and getting back on that horse and pushing forward. However, after studying for that exam and watching many of the LTT videos, I’m very interested in building my own PC. ALL Linus’ builds are gaming rigs. I’m not a gamer really but I’m very interested in trying to build my own rig. Streaming videos and everyday office work would be the computer’s main use but I’d like to have the ability to play some causal gaming and stream 4K down the road. Anyways, I just wanted to drop in and say hi to the community and get some opinions and advise on building my own rig.
