Ultra wide and 1080p is confusing.  1080p is an aspect ratio as well as a pixel count.  An ultra wide by definition won’t be 1080p unless it’s vignetted or weirdly stretched

Wouldn't get a 9100f but should be good for most stuff at high

No. Get a Ryzen 3100.

Why? At all budgets AMD is 99% of the time the best op to in to go with. 
 

When you buy a 9100f, you are buying a dead socket with no upgrade path. 
 

When you buy a 3100, you are getting a socket that has new CPUs coming out for it in Autumn. 
 

Why would you choose Intel?

Any particular reason? Unless you have a specific reason to go intel Ryzen chips are better value and you can do more on a B series AMD board than you can on the same grade of intel.
