###### IN windows i have checked the windows update history in which they have updated ELAN Fingerprint Biometric Driver

So there is a driver but not showing in Linux ,Dont know the reason .. Please Help me

How can i get my finger print sensor work ????

there's a 9/10 chance that there is only a windows compatible driver.

Yes, It May happen as asus doesn't support driver for linux as lenovo does

Well there's something wrong with your system then, because there is very obviously a package for it: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libfprint

sudo apt-get update

is this package showing in your os , maybe i'm using 20.04 so they don't have package for this version

 

Same thing happen with me when i tried installing Pyqt4 that already working fine in ubuntu 18.04

Same thing happen with me when i tried installing Pyqt4 that already working fine in ubuntu 18.04

I'm running Arch so it's irrelevant if I can see it or not as I would download the package from a different source.
