You dont seem to have a system ssd?

If you put your system on a ssd and get a large hdd, it doesn't really matter what rpm/cache you have. Granted that you are able to put in a m.2 or second 2.5 inch drive. i highly recommend going ssd though, itll feel like a new laptop

As a general rule though, for HDDs of equal age, the 7200RPM should be faster, but it will use more power and run hotter.

But if you absolutely possibly can, go SSD, as they are much much faster and use less power, produce less heat and aren't susceptible to vibrations.

If you already have a boot SSD (I see some models of that laptop in your sig do) then the difference will depend on what games you play, but it can reduce stutter when the games load in assets.

You should prioritize on having a SSD first then HDD.

If your laptop only have 1 HDD, get a bigger SSD, or if you're lucky enough to have a optical disk drive, you can swap it with hdd.

There a thing called "hdd caddy", it replace the space of the internal cd drive so you can place a hdd in there.

Personally I'd go 7200rpm drive as they are that bit more responsive. Presuming a 2TB SSD is going to hurt the budget a bit much? They've come down, but big capacity still impacts the price.
