Easiest way to save a text conversation to USB drive? (android)

I searched google and youtube only to find a bunch of shitty videos with more dislikes than likes with the microsoft sam voice. All I want to do is save my GF and I's conversation from the past two years to a thumb drive. What is the easiest and least BS way to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Its kinda creepy to do that not gonna lie. What exactly are you trying to save, Text messages via phone, or a program like discord?

Why is it creepy? My GF wants our conversations saved... Text messages via phone.

Unless the platform you are using allows you to export the conversation as a text file, I think the easiest way would be to go through and screenshot the messages then copy the pictures to the usb drive.

Or, if you can go through and copy all the messages at once, you might be able to paste it into a text file. But that might mess up the formatting.

Is there seriously not a simple way to do this? I'm not going to take screenshots of fucking hundreds of thousands of messages.

Not one that I know of. What platform are you using? ill do some more research and see if i find anything else.

If you are on android, there is an app called "SMS Backup & Restore" that you can use. It will allow you to save your text messages on your PC and then you can just export the text messages in xml format. Dude, I have no idea. And trust me, I know where you are coming from regarding backing up text messages from love ones. For example, I managed to save some of the last text messages from my grandmother before she passed away and she was a really important person for me. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Usually, we can export text messages from phone to computer or USB drive by using phone manager tool. If it's ok, you can try such tool. Some of them are free to use. Just search online and choose the one you like.
