CPU architecture and chip names

I have trouble remembering them all, so I decided to make a table of some of the info. I find myself using the architecture on AMD's side, but the generational name on Intel's side. Corrections or updates welcome.

Yeah, I was too lazy to fill in the older Intel mobile CPUs. I think they were near enough same as desktop anyway. Things didn't get complicated until 10th gen. 

 

To the best of my current understanding, AMD have said Zen 3 will be with us this year, but they didn't exactly say in what form. For example, it might be server, not desktop. On that note, I left off server otherwise it gets really confusing. Intel wise I wouldn't expect anything on desktop until next year. Tiger Lake might be an interesting indicator, as it might have Willow Cove and their new Xe graphics.

They usually release the consumer first, server and HTPC come later.

For Intel, it's "still 14nm" and "not 14nm" for me
