Is it safe to still run Windows 1803

So a continuation from this Topic. If anyone knows a solution to this I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know. 

 

Like what that topic says, I am having issues updating this ASUS Laptop with 32gb of storage running Windows 1803. This laptop is only used for light web browsing and the user is tech literate enough that he knows not to click on dodgy links or go on suspicious websites.

 

My last resort is to perform a factory reset/reinstall windows but I currently do not have time for that. So I was wondering whether it is safe to use this version of Windows 10 for the time being
