He hasn't degraded anything for a few days. Degradation occurs over the course of weeks or months even. No need to panick him even more

So... update: I turned off my PC for about 2 hours to go do some other stuff. When I came back and turned it on, the same framedrops occured. Restarting the PC seemed to fix the issue though. I also turned on a-xmp profile 1 since msi has two profiles and 1 is allegedly more stable.

Did you revert everything to stock as instructed? Aka, clear CMOS?

Yup, returned everything as it was when i got the system running for the first time. though I left PBO on. Every time I turn on the PC I experience framedrops and I have to restart to make them go away.

What are your thermals and clockspeeds when frame drops occur? Use HWiNFO to track them

the clockspeeds are essentially max and base or somewhat above base. the thermals are about 40 - 50 degrees
