First build power troubles!

My estimated wattage is 469, but I don't know how much watt psu I should get. I'm not sure if I need more watts or the amount, please help!

I'm CatPat, and yes, the t's do vary.

A 550-600W unit should be more than sufficient.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

I disagree. You should have more headroom. Power supplies operate most efficiently between 40% and 80% of their power, depending on the model. The power also decays over the years, and you will have no room for overclock or future upgrades. You should build to about 60% of the PSU full power.

Assuming what you said about 470w, I’d be looking into a 750w PSU.
