Audio Technica ATH-G1WL, buzzing when no sound

Hi,
I recently bought the Audio Technica ATH-G1WL based on the may great reviews. This is my first pair of 2.4G wireless earphones as previously I just used a cheap Sony bluetooth earphones.

When things are "silent" ie. no audio playing there is a low audible buzz coming from the earphones. Its not very loud but notisable that its not silent. If I unplug the USB dongle the earphones go properly silent. I've tried several USB sockets, including ones on my monitor and on USB docks and there's no difference.

Is this quiet mid tone buzz/pitch normal for wireless headphoens? I'd understand if it was via an audio jack. The old Sony Bluetooth ones I used never did this.

It's not normal behavior. Maybe try to lower frequency (to 44100) in system sound settings? I'm not sure if it can affect BT sound signal, but is worth to try.
