I bought my Shure srh940 used but basically new for under $140 and they sound amazing.

Instead of SRH840's like EmoRarity said, SRH440's with pads from the 840's are great, and sound almost the same, for less cash. Review in signature, or you could read t0wer's review, sort of a comparison: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/105857-shure-srh-440/

I'd say Beyer DT770 but the Shures are nice too.
