Need help on a build, give me your opinion.

kriptcs

Budget (including currency):  930EU

Country: Romania

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AC Origins, Metro Exodus, GTA V

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

  • R5 3600
  • RTX 2060 GIGABYTE
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 3200
  • Gigabyte B450M DS3H
  • A2000 250GB + 1TB Barracuda
  • Seasonic Focus GX-550
  • 275R Airflow

So this is the build that I came up with, trying not to cheap out on anything, while also maintaining a budget. What are your thoughts?

Note: Please keep in mind that some things here may not make sense here, but the parts I have chosen are some of the cheapest I could find while also not going for offbrand stuff.

Ryzen 9 7900x w/ LIAN LI Galahad 240  +   MSI RTX 3060
32GB @ 4800 mhz Corsair Vengeance + ASUS TUF X670e-PLUS

Get a B450 MAX or cheaper (not The cheapest) B550 Motherboard. You'd have to update the Bios with this board.

You would either need a older Ryzen CPU or, if supported by the Motherboard, flashback it.

the pro4 is about 10eu more expensive and the 5600xt is about 30 euro more expensive. Why would the pro4 be better? Does it not need to be updated?

the pro4 is the better board, the bios will still need to be updated but you can ask the local computer store to update it for you.

No, they should have a supported Ryzen CPU and with that you can update the Bios.

If you scroll down a bit, it says they're ready for 3000 and compatible with 1000 / 2000. I'm not sure but I wouldn't buy it.

most new stock b450 boards are compatible out of the box. you can ask the vendor if the has a "ryzen 3000 ready" sticker on the box.
