HELP NEEDED IN PC BUILD

I have bought Thermaltake smart BX1 550W 80+ bronze PSU.

My build:

Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 2060

Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard

16GB 3000MHz RAM

Mostly I'll game and code in this PC.

I came to know that this is a bad PSU. Any tips that I can and can't do with the PSU? And what's the ideal time to replace the PSU?

Please help! This is my first build I don't like it get fried up!

No. I'll use 1TB WD HDD 7200RPM only.

i suppose youre from india. i am too xd. psus arent as expensive and unavailable right now in india. if you can return it for money, do so. get a corsair CX series psu, or go for a gold rated MWE or a RM series.

DONT GET THE DS3H board. its a bad board with bad power draws and shitty VRMs. the asrock b450 pro 4 is available for less than 7500 INR and even other options like the aorus elite and the msi tomahawk are available.

what are your storage options

😕

would strongly suggest to get a SSD, booting up without a SSD is very slow especially with today's standards

Totally agree, the DS3H is total garbage.

due to the virus conditions in india, it may be a little delayed, but it is best if you return the PSU and the Motherboard immediately. since vedant computers is a reputable store, they must have a reasonable return policy. how much did the total build cost? what was the price of the psu and the motherboard

😕

i read the vedantcomputers return policy, dont fret. just follow their standard procedure for the return and refund and order your new psu and motherboard after you return them.

we are here to help if you need suggestions

tip: buy from offline stores. the indian offline PC component market is dead cheap. a RX5500XT which costs 19k is available for 15k in some stores

try to find someone who is willing to buy the psu and motherboard second hand. if not then save the components if you plan to build a weaker system in the future. if you cannot do any of these then you can use them in your system.

Shall I use it for an year and I'll buy new one?

Or do I have to replace them soon?

I'll be doing gaming and some machine learning works. ( No overclocking)

Your suggestions?

Your suggestions?

if you use it then its resale value may decrease, rather if you sold it now and bought something else.

even if you tried to overclock, you wouldnt be able to with that board.

it will suffice, but it may not last long enough

what do you mean by machine learning, this build is relatively weak

😕

In what sense does it may not last long enough? How many months or years?

you cant really say, it depends on the way u use it. freuquent power cuts may reduce its life or even instantly kill it. there is no proper way to say how long it will last

Actually, I ordered the PSU from MDComputers. They said they can cancel the PSU. And ordered Corsair CX 550W from Amazon. But couldn't cancel the motherboard :(
