The cmos does not even have to do with it booting up

Do you even know what cmos battery is ?

You unplug everything like the keyboard mouse etc

There  is a jumper underneath it

You short that or you take the battery out for 1-5 minutes and put it back in

When i turn on my pc it says 'windows didnt load correctly' so i tried to boot the pc again with my USB key in and pressed the option that said repair using USB key, it took me to windows setup (idk if thats meant to happen), if i do the windows setup will all my files/games be removed (also on the post screen it said it was repairing my drive C (ssd) and it successfully did that)

My pc crashes within 3 minutes of me turning it on, if i factory reset it, will it stop crashing?

Well that completely depends on what's causing the crash. There is a possibility it might or it might not. For example if you're crashing because of a component overheating, a bad drive, etc. then no amount of re-installing will fix that.

It will better do to check your hardware first part by part if you are sure that you have no viruses on your pc.

Perhaps, perhaps not.

A software fix is not going to repair a hardware fault. So if the issue you're facing has nothing to do with Windows, resetting Windows won't help.

But it can be a decent first step in finding out the issue with your computer. Be sure to make a backup of all important files.

A "factory reset' will probably not be the first thing I try. I would clear your CMOS first, reset the BIOS settings.

Get rid of xmp / docp

Try with one stick at a time.
