Overcloking Hinyx CJR (C-Die)

whatever gives lower overall latency. You could test this with AIDA64 memory benchmark

System specs:

  • R7 2700 stock
  • MSI B450 Tomahawk
  • RX 570 4 GB MSI
  • 2x8 GB Teamgroup certified for 3200 MHz CL16
  • 120 GB Teamgroup SSD
  • 2 TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
  • BeQuiet! System Power U9 500W

 

I'm playing with memory OC but I don't have much experience or knowledge on the topic. For the moment I'm simply using Memory Try it! feature that comes with MSI motherboards. CJR or C-Die from Hinyx is not as good as B-Die from Samsung but as I'm experiencing is still pretty decent. I have been able to boot: 3200 MHz, 3333 MHz, 3466MHz at CL16 and 3600 MHz at CL 18.

I would like to know if 3600 MHz CL18 is equivalent to 3466 MHz CL16. I think 3466 MHz requires less voltage therefore that'd be more stable

 

I would like to know which options is better

If I go with more SoC voltage, could I boot 3600 MHz at CL16? If so, how much voltage should I go with?

With zen + and hynix IC's ? 

Highly unlikely 

You can try tho, anything over 1.2 for the Soc I would not recommend

Booting and stable are completely different things lol.

 

Run it through some benchmarks and some memory tests - you will find (very likely unless you got super duper lucky) its not stable with just setting these items at such an aggressive overclock)

3600 MHz wansn't stable. Timespy crashed after first graphics tes
