I've seen one (or a couple) custom waterblocks for the Gigabyte 5700 XT cards...hold on..

Does the Gaming 5700 XT use a reference PCB..?...might need to check.

I know the AORUS 5700 XT is a custom PCB, though.

I contacted that company and they  said it will work on the Gigabyte gaming OC card.

Been meaning to get one myself but I'm  waiting for the actual gfx card prices to go down.

I am currently having this crazy idea because i cannot find a AIO Water cooling solution for my GPU Gigabyte Gaming OC 5700xt custom aircooled.

The idea is to use a CPU Water block to Cool the GPU and using its old Air alumium fins (cut and chopped as needed to cool the parts that are cooled already with it.)

Off course this making loses 1 fan in the middle of it and some...plate in mid for the cpu water block to pass through.

1. I wonder if ANYONE has tried it and with what CPU WaterBlock.

2. Do you have any idea if it will be viable in terms of not uping the temps of vrms or other staff on the pcb, becuase of the cuts in the plate?

Any other recomendation to try instead?

Remember its not the reference design from gigabyte but a custom.

Thank you.

....i have searched and inquired almost 10 companies with water blocks....they all refer mostly to reference card designs by other manufacturers like gigabyte or asus. they seem to have no solution for a custom card like mine and many others too...

BTW those you refer too...they dont provide one! thank you anyway.

EDIT:

Gigabyte Gaming OC uses a non-reference PCB.
