Intel's marketing team at it again "SUPERIOR GAMING PERFORMANCE AT A LOWER PRICE"

Story:

_rogame a respected hardware leaker has just shared some slides from Intel comparing gaming performance of their 10th generation 10750H mobile processors in an MSI GL65 laptop versus the AMD Zen 2 R9 4900HS mobile processors in the Zephyrus G14.

The Intel processor inside the MSI GL65 has the luxury of a larger and thicker chassis, and the GPU it is paired with is an RTX 2060 Refresh 90W.

The AMD processor inside the Zephyrus G14 is operating in a smaller and thinner chassis, and the GPU it is paired with is an RTX 2060 MAX-Q 65W.

Intel are considering this a win for their processor and claiming that they offer superior performance for a lower cost.

Below is a customized list of laptops from Notebookcheck's benchmark database and how they perform on "1080p ultra" settings in The Witcher 3. The models are similar to the ones Intel used to conduct their "gaming benchmarks":

From what I can tell Notebookcheck was able replicate Intel's "results" with the 10th Gen 6-core i7 and 8-core i9 spitting out 19-22% more frames (probably more like 5-10% if kitted with a RTX 2060 Max-P*), but the fact is that their own 9th Gen 6-core MSI GL65 with the slightly older 2060 Max-P performs near identically to a 8-core Ryzen 4800H/HS or 4900H/HS (in this case on the Asus TUF A15).

Not to mention that Techspot's tests show that the 10750H performs marginally better than the 9750H (and definitely worse than the 4800H) in almost every productivity application in otherwise identical GS66 laptops: https://www.techspot.com/review/2022-intel-core-i7-10750h-vs-9750h/

*the laptop-versions of the RTX 2070 and 2080 performs marginally better than the RTX 2060 "Super" Max-P ~ especially when a 2060 Max-P is paired with overclocking hardware and/or firmware like Eluktroboost or AMD SmartShift.

Haven't people at Intel hired that guy from PCPerspective (Ryan Shrout?) to avoid shit like this and sort of have someone that guides them of presenting their products well to the users? It's like Intel just took a massive dump on Ryan and ran with it anyway.

They hired him specifically so that he could do this type of crap lol. He's always been an intel shill but he's taking it to a new level these days
