Quick AIO cooler question

Hi

new to AIO cooling, been watching Linus’s videos on his builds. Sometimes with AIO coolers i see the fans on the underside of the rad and the rad then attached to the top of the case, and other times the other way around. Which is best? Ive got mine under the rad, and as exhausts. So i have three fans on the front panel as intakes, one on the rear of the case as exhaust along with the two under the rad of the AIO, is this ok?

thanks

Martin.

It's a sort of 'doesn't matter much' kind of deal.

Push vs. Pull on a radiator (so whether it's on one side or the other of the radiator) doesn't matter for performance and whether you use the radiator as intake/exhaust doesn't matter much at all.

Using the radiator as...

Intake: lower CPU temp, higher GPU temp

Exhaust: vice versa

So if your CPU and GPU temps are good, there is nothing to worry about

Another reason to make the fan "suck" through the radiator is then its really easy to see dust/pet hair buildup and clean it off.

If your fans blow in to the radiator then all the dust and things become obstructed by the fan chassis and blades and its harder to clean.

Martin.

that's  a flawless setup. In my experience when the fans are pulling through the rad they make more noise. This way you'll have to remove the fans to clean the rad, but I think the silence is worth it.
