I just built a new PC for my room and was wondering if my CPU temps are too high for normal. I have a Ryzen 7 3700X, Asus Prime X570 Pro MOBO,
and a Corsair H100X AIO 240mm cooler. My temps when i boot in to the BIOS read 35-38 degrees C, but when i'm in Windows hwmonitor is reading high 40s low 50s. I'm new to the PC community so i was wondering if these temps are too high when i'm running nothing in the background?? I was told by several friends that CPU's should nromally idle around 30-40 degrees C. Any suggestions or advice would help.

That's about normal for a 3700X. Mine is around the same but hardly exceeds 70 degrees even under synthetic load.

Normal for modern CPUs. If load temps are good, nothing to worry about

^ this, and use HWiNFO64 or Ryzen Master instead. They should provide the most accurate readings for Ryzen CPUs.
