Go to solution Solved by kamiraasu,

Ok, no bottleneck detected.
So its just low fps problem.
Too high graphics settings to
keep it smooth enough for your taste.

EDIT:
Nice setup.
Getting very similar one.
Should last for atleast five years

I just wanted know if this is normal, if not thinking about doing an rma on the display.

Oh i missed that line.
Looks like normal low fps behavior to me.

In every game I play with 60fps or less fps I get massive judder, wen I can hit at least 70fps the image is smooth. I wanted to know if this is normal with high refresh rate monitors.

Here is a video that shows exacly how it feels:

I would say its normal on any refresh rate monitor.
The thing is that when the fps doesnt meet monitors
refresh rate, tearing or what you see starts to show up.

Limit your monitors refresh rate and the fps to level
where fps stays steady for smoothest experience.

You may have to lower graphics settings to get more fps.

Stuttering can be caused by cpu bottleneck too.

I tried using 60hz refresh rate but I get the same results. I also tried setting 60hz in the display settings in windows and this "judder" is even noticeble in the desktop.

The best results I could get is when I lower the graphic settings in the game to get more fps, just like u said.

Thanks for the reply.

do you by any chance have a freesync/gsync display?

it could be one of those hitting its bottom limit

Yes, I have a freesync display. The limit seems to be 40hz.

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, low fps results in similar effects. Even within freesync range.
Let the graphics card and display use the highest possible refresh rate.

Edit:
What cpu and gpu do you have?

Thanks man, now I'm a bit more relieved. I've been trying to fix this for a long time, tried everything I could think of.

Thank you very much for the fast replys.

No problem at all :]

Other thing that you can do to get possible problems solved.

Run these commands one at time in CMD as administrator.

sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

I keep suggesting those here and there.
Usefull after windows update etc. just to check things are ok.

It was my first build. I was hopping I could get some decent fps in games but some just seem to be badly optimized.

I bought Wildlands on sale to play with my friends but I can't get decent fps in high settings, I found it a bit odd.

Thanks! I'll try that.

Awesome build!
Some games are badly optimized and/or they have graphics options to owerwhelm even future hardware.
We just have to balance it out by figuring out the best settings for our taste.
