I was thinking of getting a new psu, with 80 plus rating with 350 watts or more. How much money could I get something like this for?

Thanks

I guess the first questions is why are you looking to upgrade your PSU? 350 watts is pretty low, just trying to understand the need.

I am trying to get a 350 at least so I can put in a graphics card for gaming and video editing. Something like a gtx1660. I think that is more than enough for that.

It very much depends on the other parts in the system, but I would be looking at 450 watt+ for multiple reasons. First being you won't find any quality PSU's under 450 watts, second, depending on the workload and what CPU you have, that system could draw 280-300 watts, and with capacitor aging over time your get dangerously close to that 350 watt number.

That said, it very much depends on the rest of the system. My CPU alone can draw 220 watts of power at full load.... But that is an overclocked 9900k. A more standard CPU wouldn't be any more than 120 tops.

I would look through the Tier B list and see what you can find at the best price. Lots of options there, but just poke around for one of those that is a good deal.

73$ to get something that isnt terrible. But that is also in stock.

Unless you want to settle for group regulated units, or just wait. Because there is not stock in the US atm.

If you wait for stuff to return to stocl, then yes. You can get something decent like a Pure Power 11 400w. Or System Power 9 400w (dont get the lower wattage models)

Those are not reviews. Those are clueless people trying to justify their purchase. None of them have a load tester, oscilloscope, or any testing equipment

Those are not reviews - just stupid people posting before using it. That power supply is a fire cracker and is VERY likely to cause serious problems.
