Hey guys, so I'm most likely going to purchase ExpressVPN for everyday use, but I'm also traveling to Europe in the near future for an extended period of time, and I want to be completely untraceable there, and I'm considering using Express with Tor to get the best security possible. Opinions?

Sounds like the best of both options. If you're using a laptop, remove your current drive and make a burner OS for your trip. Hell, just buy a shitty $200 laptop and use that for the trip and donate the laptop without the drive at the end.

Even with TOR you are not 100% untraceable.

Sorry I feel like I overstated. I know I'm not 100% untraceable every, and @ARikozuM that's a fair idea, but I'm not looking to go that far, I'm more looking to just secure myself as much as possible without going to the extremes.

Even then I would consider at least using a new OS build. None of your accounts should be on it until your link to TOR and VPN are active.

How would I go about doing that? I'm not buying a new drive if that's what I need to do.

i would not recommend using any commercial vpn like expressvpn or nordvpn. basically all of them want your data.

That is not true. ExpressVPN is confirmed to not sell/hold data, and I believe nord is the same.
