I bought a large case and my powersupply doesn't reach the 8pin connector for CPU I believe

Deathsingx10

Not without knowing what case you have, which PSU you currently have (some lower end PSUs have shorter cables than what's standard), and where you're buying from.

Anyone recommend a decent PSU with long cables?

Cant you just get some extension cables? Im sure those are way cheaper than a whole new PSU. They should also help with good looks.

What case and power supply? Should take a picture.

Just buy an extension if anything.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Like a picture of the internals, but it should all be ATX standard, you might have to flip your PSU over, if the cables are towards the front.

Or just run the cable around the front of the motherboard.

Buy some cable extensions, something like this:聽

https://www.amazon.com/CableMod-ModFlex-8-pin-PCI-Extension/dp/B077QR27GF/ref=sr_1_5?crid=SSBETC3QL8YB&dchild=1&keywords=cpu+cable+extension&qid=1590962355&sprefix=cpu+cable+ex%2Caps%2C199&sr=8-5

You can also get extensions for your 24 pin power and pci express power so everything matches and looks cool聽馃槑.

It shouldn't be an issue once you get a like non fire hazard PSU.

No idea who OEMs for that one.

Where did you get the PSU? Might have just come from an office PC type thing where it was a short case and that was all they needed.

Any good suggestions for a PSU roughly 500w?
