Do you think Intel will speed up developing their 7nm & 5nm process?

News. Ryzen 4000 series desktop CPUs are likely going to use TCMS's 5nm+ process. This is going to crush Intel if Intel is still going to use 14nm++++++ process.

Of course not, at least not now, they're struggled for over 2-3 years maybe to get to 10nm and that is only on their mobile chips, and we're waiting for next year for intel to hopefully come out with 11th gen at 10nm so I don't think they will somehow parkour to the 7 or 5nm process anytime soon.

It's important to realize that Intel's process is not the same as AMD's. They're not really that far behind.

1. 5nm news is false, 4000 series CPUs still use 7nm

2. Intel wont speed up 7nm or 5nm just because of 10nm fail, they havent given up on 10m yet so where will the manpower needed to speed up dev on other nodes come from?
