Latest bios update for ASrock B365m phantom gaming

Im running a 9th gen I5 in an ASrock B365m phantom gaming 4 at the moment, and I am wondering if its is okay to update to latest bios, Current is P1.00 newest is P4.20

It’s ok to update it, but the general consensus is only upgrade it if you are currently having issues, just because of the possibility of bricking the motherboard.

just because of power loss though? it would not cause any compatibility issues? Im suffering from occasional freezes no matter what Im doing but it recovers itself after a few seconds

I just updated to 4.30 with no issues just in case anyone needs this info, thanks for the quick replies first time posting
