I've been using cheap earbuds my entire life.

Well, not always earbuds , I did used to use the $1 dollar store headphones when I was in middle school.

 

Iv'e been wanting to experience what using a quality par of headphones was like. Is it worth it for someone like me? I've never used a pair of earbuds or headphones over $40. (even then, the ones near that $40 mark was because they were wireless)

Any suggestions for a pair of closed headphones? From Amazon preferably. Max I'm willing to spending is $150, I can pay any additional tax. I just want them for general use at my PC. It would also be nice if it had a detachable cable. I like being able to switch cables on my keyboards, don't know if it would be the same for headphones. Seems like a plus because I wouldn't have to worry about damaged cables.
