x570 board needed - sub £250

I'm currently looking to build a system and I have a rough budget of £250 (Most preferably less) for an x570 mobo. I would require reasonable vrms for a good oc on a 3900x and support for 3600mhz memory.

All recommendations welcome :D,

Many thanks in advance,

Lex.

ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus is a solid board. It usually sits around £200 and meets all of your requirements. If you need WiFi+BT you can get ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) for around £250.

Pretty much all x570 boards (except the MSI budget ones, they screwed up with their lowest end x570 ones) will do that.

Some of the best cheap and with high quality vrm and good cooling are

185 gbp Asus TUF x570 plus : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/whMTwP/asus-tuf-gaming-x570-plus-atx-am4-motherboard-tuf-gaming-x570-plus

200 gbp Gigabyte x570 aorus elite  : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/nHxbt6/gigabyte-x570-aorus-elite-atx-am4-motherboard-x570-aorus-elite

aorus elite is maybe the cheapest that has that usb type c connector for front panel, and has a lot of usb on the back

the wifi versions are maybe 5-10 gbp more expensive... it's often worth it, especially if you're willing to go up to 250 gbp

Cheaper models yet good enough for your needs would be :

160 gbp : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/RJxbt6/asrock-x570-phantom-gaming-4-atx-am4-motherboard-x570-phantom-gaming-4

170 gbp : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/qkLwrH/asrock-x570-pro4-atx-am4-motherboard-x570-pro4

173 gbp : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/McfFf7/asus-prime-x570-p-atx-am4-motherboard-prime-x570-p

as you seem to have the budget, i'd say avoid them ... You're losing features... only 3 analogue outputs (no 7.1 or optical out), maybe older onboard audio, fewer usb 3.1 gen 2 ports, no usb type c, worse pci-e slot layout, maybe single m.2 nvme, but otherwise can handle even a 3950x just fine.

If you're willing to wait a few weeks, the x570 Tomahawk looks like it will be a board with £300+ quality for £200. Otherwise, well, what they said ↑
