What are the names of the hardware pieces that you can get for PC fans so they all plug into one single hub?

'splitter'.

But not all hubs supports a splitter natively.

The PCIE slot on a motherboard?

There are certain sort of a splitter boards, but I would recommend avoiding that, really. (unless you have a specific reason to do this).

do they have splitters that can be connected to the molex plug?

yes.

if you should use it depends on the scenarios, as Molex is kind of an outdated standard. it also depends on what you're connecting to it.
