ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO Win 7 ?

So i am trying to put win7 onto my ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO and nvme ssd but see no drivers out there for it .

 

Anyone out there do this ?

 

have win 10 on it now but none of my Canon 6D software works in windows 10 (and some other random probs)

That platform doesn't support windows 7, but with some annoying drive work it might be possilbe

 

But you really shouldn't run windows 7 as a main os due to security issues.

 

What software do you need for your 6d? I just copy the files from the cf card in my 7d and it works in basically every os.

 

You can get windows 7 to work with a vm, and thats the prefered way to d oit.

ah ok i will reformat to win 10 and run vm i guess . I like to use my 6D as a webcam for nicer green screening

tho i am starting to think i might just turn my old pc new and buy a capture card and stream with 2nd pc
