Budget (including currency): $750ish us (lower if possible )

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: racing games, JWLIBRARY and Zoom at the same time, multiple chrome tabs with combination of preceding uses at the same time 

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

want to game at 1080p 60fps; building asap

 

What I have: 

friend has a case for me (don't know if it has fans) 

Just bought a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 from b&h for $175 

 

What I don't have yet: 

Don't know if I should go with a x570 or b450 

Would like to have a 500gb m.2 ssd 

16gb 3200mhz (2x8)

Gtx 1660 super- if you think I should go with a amd card please give reason why. Thanks

I would return/cancel the order for the r5 3600 and wait for geforece 30xx, ryzen 4000, and b550/x670. Otherwise I can't recommend a b450 board because of future upgradebality and x570 is really expensive. The adata sx8200 pro are good and cheap m.2 nvme ssd's. Buildzoid has a ram buying guide so watch that. Nothing against the 1660 super. For psu's get at least b+ or b tier psu

If you're on a budget go with B450.

There's really no reason to get X570 TBH. Not unless you want PCIe 4.0, or a nicer looking board.

You're only really missing out on one generation, maybe two before they change sockets if you go with B450. It's not that bad.
