Is my 750w psu a little bit overkill for what i want to pair it with?

So i am planning to upgrade my r3 2200g to a r5 3600 and getting a Aorus windforce 1650 super oc and im wandering if my 750w psu is enough or its a little bit overkill

750W is overkill, as a decent 450W will also work.

Put that money you would save by going with a lower wattage PSU and spend it on a better videocard; something you actually get an improvement from.

Yes it's overkill, but so what? It won't hurt anything. What model is it? That's more important than the wattage

It's overkill for almost anything.   You're going to be using less than 200 watts as it is.  If you've already bought it then it's fine though.  It will only use as much power as the system requires.

If you have a tier B or better 450W PSU, it's plenty.
