Hey there, my friend is so hyped around the reboot of Thief, but his hardware doesn't really fit the requirements, can you help him / us out by selecting a new graphics card? He doesn't want anything fancy like G-Sync, Mantle or even 3D, just a card that can handle Thief, and priced reasonably. (So please don't suggest Titan :) )

His current specs:

AMD Phenom II X2 555 Processor (3.20 GHz)

(Radeon HD 4600 series, he's not able to find the exact model)

8 GBs of RAM.

(I presume his motherboard supports PCI-E)

Thanks :)

750ti is the best price to performance card out there and only costs $150, If he does have a psu over 400w though a 760 wouldn't be a bad choice either.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

With a phenom 2 dual core everything will be VERY bottlenecked. I have a phenom 1 quad core which is just as bad. A 7770 is the highest card I would reccomend.
