Inexpensive lighting for video conferencing / podcast

I've looked over dozens of videos, but couldn't find the Linus showed. I searched the forums here, no luck. Random google, Amazon & B&H photo searches found things a bit more pricey than I could justify. I'm hoping this is the right subforum for this question.

 

Linus showed a $20 or thereabouts circular light, like a boom light. I think I remember an arm for it too, but maybe it was just the disc shaped light itself.

 

I frequently engage in video conferences and my lighting is always terrible. I have three 27" monitors and when I have to view or bring anything up, my face dramatically changes color and just looks unprofessional. I think I need a strong light source, probably two so there aren't shadows, that overpower the light from my monitors.

 

Thoughts / recommendations?

I use one of these for my photography. Works well enough.

This craftsman shop light might work just hook it to the side of your monitor and the webcam on the top of the monitor it works decently.  I have used one with with Logitech C922 it surely help a decent amount.  One more thing you could try is hang a good size hook on the wall behind the monitor and it hang about 6" to 15" above the monitor.
