Fan Aesthetics

I have a very nice looking water cooled build that is ruined by some pesky noctua fans. They're gross. I have enough SP120 fans around to replace them, but I'm worried about noise. I have some voltage enough voltage reducers so they will run at 7V (idk if they're pwm). The point of the build is to be very very quiet. How loud would they be? Is it worth it for the aesthetics?

It might be worth it. Might run warmer. And I'll take all your Noctuas (if they're free). ;)

My noctuas would ruin your aesthetics :P

Oh, forgot as opposed to running at higher speeds. xD And what asthetics? I have a red case, with a blue fan, blue mobo, gold NB heatsink, yellow, white, and blue slots, and a HDD with a blue PCB. This computer is the definition of rainbow.

SP120s are loud man. I have two Quiet Editions in my rig, I turn every fan off except those two (because I can't) while idle. Quite audible, though I usually have my ceiling fan on with or without headphones on.

SP120's have to be one of the loudest fans in existence. 

35 dBA at 12V. So loud!

I have gt's and can't hear them with my ad900x's on, but if I plug 2 nf-f12's in as front intakes, I can hear them instantly through my headphones. 

 

I hear good things about e loops, although haven't tried them.
