I know r9s series are over priced but hey you get a 750w psu and a cooler master case?? LOL so that's pretty cool, good for anyone planning to spend 600 on a r9 290 anyways.

From the charts seems like the Tri-x is the best non-reference cooler out so far.

$600 on a R9 290? I can get on for 580 AUD.

Anyways that's pretty good, as it is Sapphire's Tri-X, and it comes with a case and PSU. Even though I'd pass that out and just get the 290 by itself and get a better PSU and case it'll be goo for a person that wants good performance on a slight budget.

Obviously its not the best but lets say I want to build a cheap desktop for my grandma or mom why not? And even if the PSU sucks setting the house on fire and killing your mom  in the process you'll get the life insurance money so it's a win win situation

It isn't bad, I'm using the 650W version of that PSU right now, it might not be 80+ certified but it has 55A on the 12V rail! it's more than enough

So I'm in class and I'm bored..... So I put some thought into it. Stress test the psu to the max use what ever possible. When the PSU can't handle anymore it will set itself on fire and due to the fire Carbon Monoxide will put people in a deeper sleep. Thus setting the house on fire and killing who ever is in it. When the firefighters check out to see if it was an accident or was purposely caused, they will most likely claim that it was an accident. Now pretend that you're sad and collect the money for more 290s mine and profit WIN. B)

Okay yeah just kidding(don't come to my door NSA) anyways back on topic good deal for anyone who wants a PSU case for a cheap build.

as MbV93 stated its not a bad psu thus making my plan invaild and messing with space time continuum ....oh man I'm never drinking and going to class again.

Except it's not. Dual core card has two spots for cooling gpus. since this is a single core gpu it will obviously be much different in design.

and everyone saying they'd not get it, GUYS the tri-X is a great triple fan cooler, and does no one to think of selling the case and PSU on craigslist//ebay?
